Volunteers needed
The Round Hill Hometown Festival relies on the help of volunteers to make it the BEST DAY OF THE YEAR IN ROUND HILL! Please consider taking an hour or two out of your day on Saturday, May 26, to help out. Spread the word to friends and family, local Scout troops, school groups, church organizations — anyone you think may be interested in helping out.

Parade registration
We’ve started to get inquiries about how to sign up for the parade this year. The RHVFD has assured us that they are working on creating the online participation form and that it should be ready soon. We will share the link as soon as we hear it is live. We’re excited that you’re excited to join in the fun!
How to: Build a Soapbox Derby Car
Want to build a soapbox derby car but don’t know where to start? Check out our derby page for official rules and specifications for our race (hint: they’re safety-based and not nearly as rigid as sanctioned races) as well as links to helpful plans and hints. We run two divisions — one for “kit” cars and one for homemade versions. As long as cars meet the safety requirements, let your creativity flow on materials and design!
Local Exposure
The Round Hill Hometown Festival would not be possible without the generous support of local businesses and individuals. It is through their sponsorships that the Festival can remain a FREE community event.
Sponsors are promoted on signs, banners and/or t-shirts during the Festival and featured beforehand on our website and Facebook page. Get your company’s name in front of the local community — business sponsorships range from $100 line listings on the t-shirts to $1,000 amusement sponsors. We also offer family sponsorships for $50.
Please see our sponsorship page for details on how your business or family can be part of the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!
