The Hometown Festival 5k will be run the morning of Saturday, May 27, through the streets of Round Hill. The race begins and ends at Round Hill Elementary School. Pre-registration is $25 for adults and $20 for youth under 18 or for pre-registered groups of 20 or more runners. Registration includes a Hometown Festival T-shirt; shirt sizes and availability cannot be guaranteed after May 1, so register early! Race day registration begins at 7 a.m. and is $28/all ages.
Forms may be dropped off or mailed to the Round Hill Town Office; online registration is available at http://roundhillva.org/hometown-festival-order-form/.

The Hometown Festival is nine weeks away — plenty of time to build YOUR downhill derby car! For specs and some websites to help you get started, check out the Downhill derby page.
The race is a rather unstructured social event designed to encourage participation and family fun with safety as the top priority. Car design criteria are based primarily on safety and for low cost and ease of entry. This is not an official soap box derby race and handmade cars with children’s participation in construction and painting is encouraged.
From paper to digital to reality — your artwork could be the winning image for this year’s T-shirt. In addition to having his/her design on the Festival T-shirts, the winner also gets to ride on a fire truck in the Hometown Festival parade! The design contest is open to all elementary school-aged students in the Round Hill area. Submit your designs to Mrs. Fink at Round Hill Elementary School or to the Round Hill Town Office by Thursday, April 6, to be considered. For details, see our Contest flier.
The Round Hill Hometown Festival is funded in part through ticket sales, race registrations, and an arts grant, but relies mostly on the generous support of local families and businesses. Sponsorship opportunities exist at all levels of support. Hometown Festival sponsorships are tax-deductible.
