Registration forms for this year’s Round Hill DownHill Derby are now available!
The Hometown Festival committee is seeking volunteers to help make Saturday, May 28, the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!
Spots are open for set up and breakdown in the Town Park, the information booth, and helping run the 5k, pie-eating contest, and downhill derby.
This is a great opportunity to give back to our community! Families and teens are encouraged to sign up; we are happy to provide a record for volunteer service hours for students and Scouts.

In just over a month, it’s the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!
It’s time… right now… to enter your own spot in our parade. We need all kinds of community support to make this the best gathering yet.
And don’t ya just want to get outside after being inside so long?
Help make our Round Hill Parade and the Round Hill Hometown Festival a big day for us all.
Entry can be done at www.RoundHillParade.com
Lineup begins at 9:00 a.m. on May 28; parade starts at 9:30!

Our local business and family sponsors help keep the Round Hill Hometown Festival a FREE family-friendly event.
All proceeds raised through sponsorships go directly toward offsetting expenses — from purchasing medals for the 5k winners to renting the stage to paying the sheriff’s deputies for closing the roads for the parade.
Sponsorships range from $1,250 premium banner spots on the Town Park stage to $50 family sponsors.
To learn more about the right opportunity for your business or family, contact Sponsorship Chair Katy Prime at Prime.katy@gmail.com.
See our Sponsorships flier for more detailed information on sponsorships for 2022!

The Festival T-shirt Design Contest is underway!
Open to all elementary school students from Round Hill.
Submissions due Friday, April 1, 2022.
See flier for more details.

Ready to supersize your derby experience from pinewood to soapbox?
Now is the time to start planning and building for the return of the Round Hill Downhill on Saturday, May 28!
In order for this race to happen, we need:
*** a race coordinator (or two)***
** volunteers the day-of**
* one or two flat-bed trailers*
And, of course, derby cars and drivers!
Email info@hometownfestival.org if you can help out. The race cannot happen without volunteers to run it!
No prior race experience necessary to volunteer, even as coordinator — past race coordinators are available to help walk you through what needs to be done.
For more info on race rules and how to build your own non-sanctioned soapbox derby car, visit the Derby page.
The Round Hill Hometown Festival returns to Memorial Day weekend this spring! Save the date and see you on the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!
