Ready to supersize your derby experience from pinewood to soapbox?
Now is the time to start planning and building for the return of the Round Hill Downhill on Saturday, May 28!
In order for this race to happen, we need:
*** a race coordinator (or two)***
** volunteers the day-of**
* one or two flat-bed trailers*
And, of course, derby cars and drivers!
Email info@hometownfestival.org if you can help out. The race cannot happen without volunteers to run it!
No prior race experience necessary to volunteer, even as coordinator — past race coordinators are available to help walk you through what needs to be done.
For more info on race rules and how to build your own non-sanctioned soapbox derby car, visit the Derby page.
The Round Hill Hometown Festival returns to Memorial Day weekend this spring! Save the date and see you on the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!

Let us know what you liked/loved about this year’s Hometown FestiFall, by filling out our quick survey. We will use the results to help shape planning for the 19th Annual Hometown Festival in May. Want to get involved? Let us know that too!

Congratulations to everyone who ran the Hometown FestiFall 5k! Results and photos are now posted on our Festival 5k page.
Remember to pick up a map of our Round Hill Photo Trail from the info booth at the Town Park tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and while you’re out snapping fall selfies, be sure to stop at Lost Acre Homestead for a pop-up vendor market and at etc! for all sorts of fun creative gifts! #RHFestiFall2021

The Round Hill Hometown FestiFall 5K Race and Parade will take place on Saturday, October 9, between 8:00AM and 11:00AM and will include rolling road closures in areas north of Town on Evening Star Drive, Woodgrove Road/Main Street, Loudoun Street, and several side streets (High Street, Longstreet Avenue, Hampton Road, Collington Drive, Jackson Avenue, and Pickett Road).
