The Festival, the Festival! How to Get to the Festival

While most people prefer to walk or bike to the Festival, for those who need to bring their cars, general parking will be available at the following locations:

  • Round Hill United Methodist Church (11 W. Loudoun Street)
  • Round Hill Town Office and NGSC (21 and 23 Main Street)
  • Round Hill Center (20 High Street)
  • Round Hill Elementary School (17115 Evening Star Drive)

Handicapped parking will be available at Round Hill Smile Design (2 W. Loudoun Street).

Entertainers in the Town Park are invited to park at C’est Bon (4 W. Loudoun Street) and Youth Stage Entertainers may park in the side lot of the Round Hill Baptist Church (9 W. Loudoun Street).

Please DO NOT park in private business lots except where noted above, or along the 5k or parade routes, or on North Locust Street (which would impede the Downhill Derby).

Rain, rain, go away

While we hope it won’t RAIN ON OUR PARADE on Saturday, we would be remiss not to mention the Festival’s rain plan, in case we do end up SINGING IN THE RAIN:

* 5K RACE is rain or shine
* PARADE is rain or shine
* DOWNHILL DERBY is cancelled if the road is wet enough to make steering/braking unsafe
* ENTERTAINMENT/FOOD/ETC
— Occasional showers — we will continue with our normal schedule as much as possible, shutting down only what/when we have to
— Complete washout — if by Thursday, May 26, it looks like there will be rain all day on Saturday, we will plan to relocate as much of the music, crafts and food as possible to the gym, cafeteria, hallway and parking lots of Round Hill Elementary School; alcohol sales will not be allowed

In the event of rain cancellations or schedule changes, updates will be posted on the Festival’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/rhhometownfestival

Help Make May 28 the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!

The Hometown Festival committee is seeking volunteers to help make Saturday, May 28, the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!

Spots are open for set up and breakdown in the Town Park, the information booth, and helping run the 5k, pie-eating contest, and downhill derby.

This is a great opportunity to give back to our community! Families and teens are encouraged to sign up; we are happy to provide a record for volunteer service hours for students and Scouts.

In just over a month, it’s the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!

It’s time… right now… to enter your own spot in our parade. We need all kinds of community support to make this the best gathering yet.

And don’t ya just want to get outside after being inside so long?

Help make our Round Hill Parade and the Round Hill Hometown Festival a big day for us all.

Entry can be done at www.RoundHillParade.com

Lineup begins at 9:00 a.m. on May 28; parade starts at 9:30!

We LOVE our sponsors! You can be one too!

Our local business and family sponsors help keep the Round Hill Hometown Festival a FREE family-friendly event.

All proceeds raised through sponsorships go directly toward offsetting expenses — from purchasing medals for the 5k winners to renting the stage to paying the sheriff’s deputies for closing the roads for the parade.

Sponsorships range from $1,250 premium banner spots on the Town Park stage to $50 family sponsors.
