The Hometown Festival committee is excited to announce our INAUGURAL CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT as a new event during the 19th Annual Festival on May 27!
Sponsored by the Purcellville Cannons baseball team, the double-elimination tournament will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Town Park. Prizes include season passes and Cannons gear. This casual tournament is free to enter; pre-registration through our Google sign-up form is strongly encouraged and will be limited to 18 two-person teams; day-of registration will also be available up to a maximum of 24 teams total. Ages 10+ please.
To help kick-off the event, the Round Hill Arts Center is also running a silent auction of four sets of cornhole boards painted by local artists! The auction will also take place in the Town Park, with the winners announced during the evening concert. Auction proceeds will benefit the Round Hill Arts Center’s Summer Art Scholarship Fund.
Music entertainment provided by local band Late Model during the tournament; beer from Dirt Farm Brewery and wine from Williams Gap Vineyard for sale in the Town Park; food vendors will also be on site throughout the day.
Stay for dinner provided by multiple vendors and evening concerts by Americana band Wicked Olde at 5 p.m. and New Orleans jazz band the Dixie Power Trio at 7 p.m.
We look forward to making this an annual part of the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!
