Festival t-shirts are in! Pre-orders may be picked up at the Round Hill Town Office through Friday afternoon and at the information table at the Town Park on Saturday. They are also available for sale at both locations. Get yours today!

Thanks to a wide variety of local vendors, there’s no need to leave the Festival to find something to eat or drink during the day.

Lunchtime options:

• Pulled pork barbecue sandwiches from the Round Hill Volunteer Fire Department
• Pizza and pasta from Anthony’s Italian
• Hot dogs and sausages from Tammy’s Diner
• Freshly-prepared chicken burritos from The Wandering Chef

Dinner options:

• Freshly fried fish sandwiches from Mt. Zion Baptist Church
• Meatballs and polenta and/or kale salad with or without chicken from The Wine Kitchen
• Beer and wine from Old 690, Dirt Farm Brewery, Bluemont Vineyard and North Gate (please bring ID and leave your private coolers at home)

Snacks:

• Chips and other pre-packaged snacks from Woodgrove High School’s Color Guard

The Round Hill Hometown Festival begins with a morning 5k and ends with a free concert in the Town Park. In between, find a full slate of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Our schedule of events is now online!

This year’s entertainment lineup features the 8-piece dance band Jumptown as the headline act in the FREE evening concert in the park. Jumptown specializes in the finest classic and contemporary Blues, R&B, Funk and Soul music. This Loudoun-County based group includes an individual familiar to many Harmony Middle School and Woodgrove High School students and parents — HMS band director Paul Shoremount, who plays trombone with the ensemble.

Jumptown will take the Town Park stage at approximately 7 p.m. Food and drink (including beer and wine from local vendors) will be available for purchase, so please leave your coolers at home. Bring chairs or a blanket and come prepared to dance!

The Round Hill Volunteer Fire Department has created an online form to help keep this year’s parade organized. Individuals and groups who would like to participate in the parade are asked to fill out the form at www.roundhillparade.com.

A red, white and blue star drawn by Brooke Havle, a fifth-grader at Round Hill Elementary School, has been chosen this year’s winning T-shirt design.

Brooke will have the opportunity to ride on a RHVFD fire truck in the Hometown Festival parade.
