💙 11:30 a.m.: MAYHEM MAGICAL CIRCUS — children’s performer

❤️ 12:30 p.m.: JUSTIN TRAWICK & THE COMMON GOOD — Americana

💙 2:00 p.m.: PIE-EATING CONTEST

❤️ 3:30 p.m.: THE FLY BIRDS — old time and bluegrass

Lawn chairs and picnic blankets are welcome — but don’t expect to be sitting for long: The dance floor beckons!

Come early and plan to stay all day!

T-Shirt Design Chosen

Congratulations to Carly Simokaitis! Her design will be featured on this year’s Hometown Festival T-shirt.

Thank you to all the young artists who submitted designs this year!

Shirts will be available for purchase from the Town Office the week before the Festival and at the Information Table at the Town Park on the day of the Festival (while supplies last; size and availability cannot be guaranteed).

Help Make May 28 the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!

The Hometown Festival committee is seeking volunteers to help make Saturday, May 28, the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!

Spots are open for set up and breakdown in the Town Park, the information booth, and helping run the 5k, pie-eating contest, and downhill derby.

This is a great opportunity to give back to our community! Families and teens are encouraged to sign up; we are happy to provide a record for volunteer service hours for students and Scouts.

Sign up for a spot at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904094fadad2ca64-18th

Join the Parade

In just over a month, it’s the Best Day of the Year in Round Hill!

It’s time… right now… to enter your own spot in our parade. We need all kinds of community support to make this the best gathering yet.

And don’t ya just want to get outside after being inside so long?

Help make our Round Hill Parade and the Round Hill Hometown Festival a big day for us all.

Entry can be done at www.RoundHillParade.com

Lineup begins at 9:00 a.m. on May 28; parade starts at 9:30!

We LOVE our sponsors! You can be one too!

Our local business and family sponsors help keep the Round Hill Hometown Festival a FREE family-friendly event.

All proceeds raised through sponsorships go directly toward offsetting expenses — from purchasing medals for the 5k winners to renting the stage to paying the sheriff’s deputies for closing the roads for the parade.

Sponsorships range from $1,250 premium banner spots on the Town Park stage to $50 family sponsors.

To learn more about the right opportunity for your business or family, contact Sponsorship Chair Katy Prime at Prime.katy@gmail.com.

See our Sponsorships flier for more detailed information on sponsorships for 2022!

Drivers, on your mark!

Ready to supersize your derby experience from pinewood to soapbox?

Now is the time to start planning and building for the return of the Round Hill Downhill on Saturday, May 28!

In order for this race to happen, we need:

*** a race coordinator (or two)***

** volunteers the day-of**

* one or two flat-bed trailers*

And, of course, derby cars and drivers!

Email info@hometownfestival.org if you can help out. The race cannot happen without volunteers to run it!

No prior race experience necessary to volunteer, even as coordinator — past race coordinators are available to help walk you through what needs to be done.

For more info on race rules and how to build your own non-sanctioned soapbox derby car, visit the Derby page.
