Take the night off from cooking Saturday and join us for our community
feast in the Town Park. Starting at 5 p.m. you will have your choice of
items from Wood Fired Foods, Mrs. K’s BBQ and the Mt. Zion Baptist
Church’s Annual Fish Fry.
Quench your thirst with beer from Lost
Rhino or wine and cider from the Winery at Kindred Pointe. ID required;
cash only, please.
Then top your dinner off with a sweet selection
of items from the Round Hill United Methodist Church bake sale or an
ice-cold concoction from Frozen Stuff on a Stick.
The Round Hill Hometown Festival activities are centered around the Round Hill Town Park on East Loudoun Street. All activities, with the exception of the 5k — which starts and finishes at Round Hill Elementary School on Evening Star Drive — are within easy walking distance of the park.
The parade progresses south down Main Street to end at the Town Park; the Downhill Derby is on North Locust Street, about a quarter mile west of the park. The Round Hill Volunteer Fire Department is on Main Street within sight of the park.
Parking in “downtown” is very limited, so we encourage residents who can walk or bike to the Festival to do so. For those who must drive, parking is available at the Round Hill United Methodist Church and Round Hill Baptist Church, both on West Loudoun Street.
We ask that the parking lot behind Tammy’s Diner be limited to those needing handicapped access.
Thank you and enjoy the Festival tomorrow!
We’re glad you asked!
* The Round Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be serving pulled pork sandwiches from 10 a.m. till they run out. At the Fire House on Main Street.
* Tammy’s Diner will have their grill set up in their parking lot on the corner of Main and Loudoun Street and will be cooking up hot dog and sausages.
* My Greek Deli will be set up inside the park offering a selection of Greek dishes.
Snacks and drinks will be available through the day from the Boy Scouts at the Round Hill Exxon and the Woodgrove HS Color Guard at the park.
And don’t miss the Round Hill United Methodist Church’s bake sale at the park to top off your lunch with something sweet!
